Foundation raises funds with donor wall plaques

Tucked between the Haugh Performing Arts Center and Student Services Building, the Citrus College Foundation Legacy and Promise Courtyard will soon undergo a major transformation.

Benefactors who donate between $1,000 and $5,000 to the Foundation will be recognized with honorary plaques on the donor recognition walls.

Currently, the courtyard consists of a circular bench and memorial tree honoring Joyce McClendon Dill, a longtime Foundation supporter who graduated from Citrus Union High School and worked at Citrus College for several decades.

The Citrus College Foundation Board of Directors initiated the project as a means of raising undesignated funding, which supports innovation grants and on-campus events and activities.

So far, the Foundation has raised $60,000 through the project. It ultimately hopes to raise $100,000 by June.

To support the project, visit the Foundation website or contact the Foundation at (626) 914-8825 or foundation@citruscollege.edu.
